Charles Despiau / Simonne Simon-Lelarge

Following the Salon du Dessin, the gallery shows a collection of drawings by Charles Despiau (1874-1946). Concurrently, we are showing about twenty sculptures by Simonne Simon-Lelarge (1921-2003). This exhibition, in partnership with the Lyonnais gallery Artis Boromé, offers an opportunity to discover the work of this sensitive sculptor, a former student of Charles Auffret and Léopold Kretz and an inheritor of the French tradition of independent figurative sculpture.
